Weaver's Cottage is an award winning 3 bedroom cottage of great character situated on the banks of the Keltney Burn in the heart of Highland Perthshire, just 5 miles from the pretty town of Aberfeldy (shops, restaurants, hotels, river walks along the "Birks") and less than 3 miles from the historic village of Kenmore (shop, pub, water sports, iron age settlement) which is situated at one end of Loch Tay.
The bright and spacious accommodation is furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard including a stunning shower room with under floor heating. The delightful sitting room has a wood burning stove and deep, comfortable sofas, making it a cosy retreat for all seasons. The cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside and has French doors leading to the garden through which runs the Keltney Burn.

The surrounding countryside is famed for its natural beauty. Not to be missed is the Fortingall Yew, at 5,000 years it is probably the oldest tree in Europe. Interestingly it was already ancient
when the Romans came this way and legend has it that Fortingall was the birthplace of Pontius Pilate. The lovely conservation village of Kenmore lies just over 2 miles away at one end of Loch Tay
(shop, pub, water sports, iron age settlement). At the other end of the loch the village of Killin (shops, hotels etc.) straddles the stunning Falls of Dochart. From Killin, Loch Lomond and
Scotland's West Coast are within easy driving distance.
The area is ideal for numerous outdoor pursuits including fishing, golfing, walking, mountain biking and watersports (kayaking, rafting, canyoning). Low level, forest and mountain walks are virtually
on the doorstep. Walkers can enjoy everything from level woodland strolls to the challenges of Glen Lyon (one of the loveliest of Scottish glens and teeming with wildlife, including the elusive
capercaillie). Mountain bikers have Drummond Hill on the doorstep with miles of tracks whilst, for walkers, the famous nearby Schiehallion (one of many local Munros) can be reached within
minutes.
